Phu My 2.2 is a new generation gas combined cycle with 9FAe class F technology gas turbined from General Electric able to generate 715 MW with an efficiency of roughly 56%.
MECO, as owner and operator of the plant, is staffed with sixty five Vietnamese personnel to carry out the operation and maintenance of the Phu My 2-2 power plant.
Phu My 2-2 is also a project that closely follows the principles of sustainable development. The power plant is deeply integrated in the Vietnamese environment, and respects the cultural and dynamic growth of the country.
Thanks to high environmental friendliness, the plant also respects the local living standards.
